My services are self-pay and not covered by insurance. Like most functional nutrition practices, working outside of the insurance system allows me to spend the time your care actually requires, without being limited by what a plan will or won't cover.
HSA and FSA cards may be applicable depending on your plan and whether your nutrition counseling is related to a diagnosed medical condition. I'd recommend checking with your plan administrator before booking. Please note that I'm unable to provide Letters of Medical Necessity or diagnosis codes; your physician would need to provide those if required by your plan. Payment plans are available upon request.

I'm based in Brooklyn, NY and work virtually with clients across the US. Due to varying state regulations around nutrition counseling, I may not be able to work with clients in all states. I ask that all prospective clients share their state of residence ahead of our intro call so we can confirm we're able to work together.
For clients located in NYC who are interested in Reiki sessions, I have some in-person availability.

Functional medicine doctors are licensed physicians who can order labs, prescribe medications, diagnose, and treat conditions.
I'm a functional nutrition counselor—my work is educational and supportive in nature, focused on food, lifestyle, and the foundational factors that influence how your body functions.
Think of it as two different but complementary lenses. If you’d like me to work alongside your functional medicine doctor or any doctor or practitioner on your team, I very much welcome that collaboration.
-
I am not a replacement for your doctor, and I want to be clear about that. Conventional medicine plays an important role, particularly for acute care, diagnosis, and prescribing medications.
My work sits alongside your existing care, not in place of it. I'm always happy to coordinate with your medical team when appropriate, and I encourage clients to maintain their relationship with their doctor throughout our work together.

Everyone is different. It depends on where you're starting from and what your body has been carrying for a while. Some clients begin to notice real shifts within the first few weeks of our foundational work together. Others take more time, and that's completely normal.
Healing isn't a straight line. There will be stretches with lots of change and slower ones, and both give us useful information. This is a collaboration and we’ll always discuss what pace is appropriate for you, and what you feel comfortable with.

This can be incredibly frustrating and I've personally been there. It's why I went back to school and studied under the program that I did—because it's different than the typical approach.
Most nutrition, and even functional nutrition approaches rely on standard protocols that don't address the underlying foundation. Without this step, a diet protocol just becomes a bandaid. You can read more about my approach on my How I Work page.

Yes, I work exclusively virtually, which means I can work with clients across the US (with the exception of certain states with restrictions).
Sessions are held via video call, and everything else—intake forms, assessments, messaging—happens through my secure client portal.

No, and that's intentional. A generic meal plan handed over before I've really understood who you are isn't functional nutrition, it's just another protocol. Instead, I provide personalized food and recipe guidance as part of your action plan, based on your specific needs, preferences, and what your body is telling us. The goal is to help you tune into your own body and equip you with the tools that will work for you long-term, not to follow a rigid plan.

Weight loss isn't something I offer as a standalone service or a primary goal. My work focuses on the foundational factors that influence how your body functions—digestion, blood sugar balance, sleep, stress, and more.
For many people, addressing these foundations naturally supports a healthier weight over time. But the focus is always on how you feel and how your body is functioning.

Due to the nature of this work and the time invested in preparing for each client, I don't offer refunds once we've begun. If you have concerns about our work together at any point, I encourage you to bring them to me directly—I'm always open to that conversation. Please review my full client agreement before booking.
